The Pupil Services Department addresses the academic, behavior, physical, and mental health needs of all students. The departments priorities are:
- Academic and behavior prevention to allow access to supports for all students in need.
- Safety of all staff and students. In Latin, discipline is defined as to teach.
- To build relationships with schools, families, and the community.
- To provide resources that benefit staff, students, and families.
- To emphasize the use of evidence-based practices, use of data for decision making, and systems with appropriate implementation.
- Continuous review of indicators and outcomes such as: (a) academic achievement, (b) office discipline referrals, (c) suspension and expulsion rates, (d) attendance, and (e) graduation rates.
